Shouldn't a 1.5-pound lobster weigh 1.5 pounds? We agree. That's why we sell only what we call True Weight™ lobsters. So, for example, when you order a 1.5-pound lobster, you'll get an impressive, full-size, 1.5-pounder (and often a larger one).
Look for our
Ditty Bag in your shipping box. It contains recommended cooking time for each size lobster. Best to cook your live lobster the same day they arrive, and keep them in the shipping container until you do. If you can't prepare them the same day, live lobster will usually do fine in the refrigerator for another 24 hours. Put them in a pan surrounded by moist newspaper. Another option, one we highly recommend, is blanching your live lobster, which will give you a day or three to serve them. Blanching instructions also are in the Ditty Bag. Enjoy.
True-Weight™ hard-shell live Maine Lobsters. Harvested from fisheries under rigorous sustainability regulations, so you know for sure -- your children, your grand children, and your grand children's children will be able to enjoy this extraordinary food.
